Design Engineering
ConTech creates a comprehensive set of design guidelines and specifications that can be used for upgrading, modifying, renovating, or building new facilities. We create a standalone system specs that incorporates demographic information, scope of work, project objectives with vendor deliverables, and system technical specifications. Each set of design guidelines or specs shall be written in order to achieve integration among security and life safety systems. ConTech Design Consultant works with the client to establish parameters that define system components, device placement, schedules, quantities, and costs to insure that the final design is in accordance with the master plan.
We incorporate the Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) principals which are supported by a series of overlapping concepts that tailor the safety and security requirements to the environment; and incorporate the relationship of the built environment to the presence or absence of potentially undesirable behaviour. The proper design and effective use of these principles can lead to a reduction in incidence and fear of crime and improvement in the quality of life by incorporating: Physical Electronic Security, Natural Surveillance, and Territorial Defensive Tactics.
