Executive Summary

ConTech Design Group, Inc. is a woman-owned firm that has successfully amassed the convergence of logical and physical security.  Such an undertaking involves the design
and installation of equipment to protect physical structures while integrating network infrastructures to minimize loss and risks. We have successfully demonstrated the benefits
in a marriage between physical access security and logical access security; and the financial impact of an organization’s IT Department and its Facilities and Construction Departments working together.  Most organizations and school systems run their physical security and logical security as two separate entities.  The Logical Security is controlled by the IT Department and grants or denies access to its intranet/internet, mail servers, web servers, and overall infrastructure.  The Facilities and Construction department controls the Physical Security Systems, which includes employee badges, door access and other life safety systems, e. g., HVAC, Fire, Intrusion Alarm, and CCTV Surveillance.

With the heightened sensitivity and awareness of the need for safety and security in this country, Schools, Corporations, and Government Agencies have begun to embrace any and all concepts and trends in physical security to minimize risks of people and capital assets; and at the same time deploy maximum use of technologies currently installed in their buildings, schools and facilities.  Since 1996, and long before 9-11 and the tragedies at Columbine, ConTech Design Group, Inc. has been consulting with government agencies and boards of education to design, engineer and integrate safety and security solutions for logical and physical security to minimize risk and maximize efficiency

We are a Single Source Safety Solution provider.   We have special skills and certifications
as resellers for a variety of hardware and software; however, our success is not specifically derived as a manufacturer’s representative; nor do we sell hardware or software as a one-size fits all.  Instead, we focus on our client’s ultimate vision for safety and security; and at the same time, correlate the design and implementation to fall in line with the overall strategic plan for security and the safety of personnel and capital assets.  As a Consultant, we create
a roadmap that guides the client through the process for bringing their vision to reality.  As a true authentic customer-focused security integrator, “the Product” is insignificant to “the Process.”  The “product” is the end-result of the vision and does not take priority over the process.
